Western Washington University Outback Farm Labyrinth Build

  • WWU Outback Farm 516 High Street Bellingham, WA (map)

Celebrate fall and the Western Washington University community by building a labyrinth together on Saturday, Oct. 17!

In its most simple form, a labyrinth is a single pathway that meanders towards a center and back out again. Unlike a maze, in a labyrinth, you’re never actually lost as there is only one path.  A labyrinth is calming rather than confusing and your view is clear and open, free of dead-ends and walls. Many find relief from stress, grief, and the demands of daily living as they breathe fresh air and experience the grounding nature of the labyrinth.

Come build this sacred pattern in the Outback Farm to create a place of reflection, peace, and wellness! Write a message on a brick and be a part of creating the path. We’ll close with a group meditation and celebration.

FREE and family friendly! Rain or shine. You’re welcome to bring instruments and snacks to share.

Brought to you by the Outback Farm and the Palliative Care Institute. For disability accommodations, please contact kemptot@wwu.edu
